Truth
#4.
Jesus Christ
is returning soon to bring an end to sin,
suffering, and
death!
Scripture
declares that as believers we should be longing
for the second coming of Christ. Titus 2:13-14
states “Looking
for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus
Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might
redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto
himself a peculiar people, zealous of good
works.”

Thessalonians 4:16-18 declares, “For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of
God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to
meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever
be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another
with these words.” The pressures of
this world may weigh heavy on your heart but
find encouragement by keeping your heart and
mind fixed toward the nearing return of your
Savior, Jesus Christ!
The
coming of Christ is rapidly approaching. In
Revelation 22:12 Jesus is quoted as saying,
“And, behold, I
come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give
every man according as his work shall be.”
Your trust in Jesus as Savior and
Lord will be fully rewarded at his return. Your
reward is with Christ, not with this
world.
Hebrews 9:28 declares, “And as it is appointed
unto men once to die, but after this the
judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the
sins of many; and unto them that look for him
shall he appear the second time without sin unto
salvation.” It will be our
deliverance from sin, suffering and
death!
Isaiah
25:9 “And it shall be said in
that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited
for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD;
we have waited for him, we will be glad and
rejoice in his salvation.”
Eat
right, live right, die anyway, but trusting
in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior means
death is only temporary while the joy of eternal
life can begin with you
today!
